GEOGRAPHICAL LOCATION
Camp site is located in a mountainous area. This area is known for its high rainfall that is likely to increase around this time of the year.
In the region you will find the Akosombo Dam, Aburi Gardens, Boti Falls etc.
DESCRIPTION OF WORK
Volunteers will be joined by the local community to construct a school block. Work will involve mixing of concrete, molding of block, lying of blocks, erection of walls etc.
As mentioned already Kwahu Praso is in a mountainous area and could be very cold at night. FACILITIES
Accommodation : Volunteers will sleep in homes

: Pipe borne water.
DIRECTION
All foreign volunteers will be picked from the KOTOKA INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT by accredited persons and sent to the VOLU Hostel. Briefing of volunteers takes place on a day before their departure to the camps. All monies are paid at the secretariat only and not to any person anywhere.
